Watery Places is a set of 12 scene files containing water elements, terrains, and atmospheres designed to produce vivid renders of water scenes. It contains a wide range of various scene elements, including beach shores, rivers, waterfalls, icebergs, mountain lakes, tropical seas and coves, swimming pool, desert oasis, and underwater elements. Many of the materials used incorporate Vue 6's new layered material capabilities to graft in the water elements. The atmospheres and lighting setups in all of the scenes have been created to produce very life-like renders. Each of the scene files contains 4 camera angles to frame different perspectives of the scene. There are several ways to use these scenes:

* Use them as is, and add your own eco-elements, objects and vegetation
* As a starting point for creating your own scenes by modifying or extending various scene elements
* As a learning tool for understanding how to construct various water elements and materials
